Suno has released the sixth version of its AI music generation models, developed in collaboration with Warner Music Group, BMG, and Believe, according to The Decoder. This latest update features three new versions and introduces the ability to partially modify songs via text commands or generate music multimodally using text, audio, and images.
Alongside the launch, Suno has discontinued all older models to focus on the new technology. However, the company has not disclosed which music catalogs were used to train the new AI models. Meanwhile, industry giants Universal and Sony continue to pursue legal action related to AI-generated music, The Decoder reported.
For Japanese markets, where AI-driven content creation is rapidly evolving, Suno’s advancements highlight growing collaboration between AI firms and major music labels, signaling potential shifts in how music is produced and monetized across the region.
