OpenAI Expands ChatGPT Beyond Chatbot with New Collaborative Features and Integrations

OpenAI has unveiled a series of updates to ChatGPT that extend its capabilities beyond a simple chatbot, according to The Decoder. These enhancements include shared workspaces, collaborative documents and slides, and an open plugin system featuring MCP event automation.

The update also introduces integrations with popular communication platforms Slack and Microsoft Teams, an enterprise marketplace hosting 32 partners, and a new Pro 500 pricing tier. These announcements were made at the recent DevDay event.
